Why can you bash action movies, but you like this? It's an action movie.
(I almost know the answer to this, but anyway)

Right, because if I like one action movie, I like them all.

Is it my fault a goddess is playing the lead role in the film?

I dunno, I've been trying to figure that out. You seem to like films with strong female characters.

V for Vendetta, Perfect Blue, and Titanic don't have strong female leads. They're just not little whiney foils waiting for heroes to save the day. They're real, respectable women.

Ah, then that's probably why you don't like 80s Action. Although really, all the whny girls usually get killed in 80s Action so the men can get together.

 Tarantio is cool, and Shamylan is an absolute master. How in Gods green hell have you come to conclude that Shamylan is so horrible?

His movies are transparent, you can obviously see all the ending dilemnas from the beginning. Thematically, he's quite weak, all of the stuff he tries to make 'exciting' is just rehashed garbage. His scripts are some of the worst I've read, too. Gibson's lines in Signs could induce cancer, I swear.

I've never really seen any of Tarantinos movies, aside from these (note that not all of them are directed by Tarantino, but he's been involved in them):

Parts of Pulp Fiction (What I saw was totally fucking boring. I turned off the TV.)
Kill Bill ('twas OK, never saw the sequel though)
Sin City (Teh awsum)
Hostel (Meh. Too little gore and blood for my tastes, actually)
Little Nicky (Slightly amusing, actually)

Oh, and I think I've seen parts of Jackie Brown too. It was boring IIRC.
