Recommend me some good stuff. These are the ones I like, so that you'll get an idea of my preferences:

Sandman (and spinoffs)
Johnny the homicidal maniac (and spinoffs)
From Hell
V for Vendetta
Death Jr.
Lenore
Fables
The crow
Nightmares & fairytales
Sin city
Friday the 13th

Castlevania - The Belmont Legacy
The Silent Hill comics
Dhampire

Don Rosas Donald/Scrooge comics
Army of Darkness
Lovecraft
Rex Mundi
Sinfest
VG Cats

Also, I have to mention these two just for their level of absurdity:

The new series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics by Joss Whedon is supposed to start up this month, I think.

Meanwhile, if you like V for Vendetta but haven't read The Watchmen, then something is wrong.

I have 300 lying around, but I haven't arsed myself to read it yet. And I've read some Preacher too. I liked it, although I've read too little to feel that I should include it on my list. But I'm glad you mentioned it :)

No, I've never really read Watchmen. I've always had the impression that it's a super hero series, and I'm not really too fond of that kind of thing. But I might be wrong? Maybe I should give it a shot..

It's not your typical superhero story. You should definitely try it.
