True that. You ever seen Constantine? Holy mother of Cotton-Eye Joe, that movie was a travesty compared to the original comic book series

They really fucked up the Hellblazer comic.
Keanu can be good though. See "My Own Private Idaho". He was also passable in "Devil's Advocate", and a few other movies.

I need to see Devil's Advocate. Reeves was also passable in Thumbsucker, I'd say.

And yes, they fucked up the Hellblazer comics big time. And that's why I don't really know if I'd ever want to see the planned movie adaptions of Sandman hit the screen. I suspect they'd just fuck up that one too, and make Sandman a sort of gothic superhero-gone-god antihero guy.

I do think Fight Club is overrated. I thought the first half was good, because it was truthful, fighting is fun and it is extremely stress releaving from life, and I also like how he got rid of his material life. However, when it starting with the whole organization to destroy the world and the two main characters were actually one character who had a split personality, it just so dumb it's not even worth mentioning.

However, it offends me that you would include Fear and Loathing in your list. :...:

Mmm. Fair enough not liking it, but I don't understand how anyone could find the film boring.

And I just hate how people misinterpret it. It actually is trying to teach that fighting and that lifestyle leads to manic depravity, but a lot of these dumb kids are thinking it's nothing more than a "cool story about guys who fight" (verbatim quote from a high schooler I talked to today, no joke). It's just so drug out, though...

That movie I can see people relating to, but to me, I couldn't find that relation. It was just a dumb movie about guys doing drugs, to me. :?

The issue with Fight Club is that the majority of its hardcore fanbase overlaps with that of Mr. Dane Cook. :...:

Fare enough, although I don't know if I would say I relate to the movie, I just find it fascinating. The characters are well built paranoid guys, and the novel just has great dialogue. Again, I guess I can see you not liking it, but it's still not your basic idiotic "if you're a stoner you'll love it" type of movie.

Come on guys.
When you watch Fight Club you get to see Meat Loaf running.
Meat.Loaf.Running
Those 2 seconds alone make the film worthwhile.
